Fabian Perez was born at Campana, a town near Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1967. He was born into very challenging family circumstances in that his father reportedly ran three bordellos in the town. But ironically, the young Fabian becoming closely associated with the "ladies of the night" who worked there formed the inspiration of much of his later success as an artist whose paintings display a poignancy which only personal experience would have been able to capture. It is believed that he inherited his outstanding artistic talent from his mother.
At the age of about 20, the young potential artist moved to Italy where he lived for 7 years before moving on to Japan where he lived for a year before finally settling in Los Angeles, USA.
Fabian Ferez's subsequent international success as an artist is largely based on his memories of the beautiful courtesans he observed as a young man at his father's alleged houses of ill repute. His work is much in demand as original oil paintings and embellished giclée prints, available through a number of prestigious galleries.
AWARDS: In 2009 Perez was named the official artist of the 10th annual Latin Grammy Wards. In 2010 Perez was named as the Official Artist for the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, Canada. In 2011 designed the trophy for the best player of the Soccer American Cup that took place in Argentina. It was given to Luis Suarez from Uruguay. That same year he collaborated with the Leo Messi Foundation in the creation of a portrait of Leo wearing the Argentine shirt. A copy of the painting was donated to the Argentine Government. In 2012 he was appointed Artist to the Summer Olympics. In 2017, Perez won Art Tour International Magazine's prestigious ATIM Master Inspiration Award as the best artist in the contemporary art world during the Year.
