(50 cent to $1 materials fee per ornament depending on type and size.)
You are welcome to bring some of your own plain satin and glass balls to decorate.
Old painted glass balls can be recycled.
Have a parent soak the old ornament in full-strength bleach for several minutes to remove the paint. Then rinse in warm sudsy water. If any color is left inside, use a Q-tip to remove it.
I have paint T-shirts to wear over your clothes, or you may bring your own paint smock, or wear clothes that won't matter if they get stained with printer's ink.
Printing and card products provided. You may bring your own one-color gift bags, boxes and ribbon to print on or purchase some from me.
Learn how to design and create your own print for cards, bags, boxes and ribbon.
Suggestion: bring a T-shirt to decorate for a brother or sister, a scarf to decorate for mom, a cloth bag, pillowcase, or cloth placemats. NOTE: cotton cloth works best and new items should be washed.
These projects will be followed by your choices from "Pick Your Projects" as described below.

Winter Holiday Projects
January 3-D Nature, Eco-Friendly, and Recycled Projects
Children love to build. They will learn to use materials and techniques that will teach dexterity skills and require critical thinking while they put together imaginative creations.
January Painting plus Collage Fun with tissue paper, tape, markers, paint, chalk and more
Also, save and recycle some of your Christmas wrapping paper and scraps of other designs. We will have fun creating imaginative pictures with these recycled materials and others that I have. This is a great project to look at things in a new and artistic way!
SPRING

You will learn about the beauty of stained glass and make a tissue collage window decoration or foil design, then make your own edible stained glass cookies. Bring a foil or parchment lined cookie baking sheet.
