Flagstaff Academy has a bird scientist on staff, so we have a special opportunity to connect art to science in a really cool way! 2nd graders learn about scientific illustration, practice their observational skills, and get outside to see the wild world in their back yards. They can also design a new animal!

Our amazing Elementary Science teacher and scientist, Stacy Wolf has an incredible ability to stoke curiosity in our students. I've never seen young people get so excited about the varied detritous of nature they find outside, eager to bring it to Mrs. Wolff to learn more.
