Young artists often draw and sculpt motionless creatures and people, so in this unit 2nd graders analyze masterpieces by a wide variety of artists which include the energy of movement. Artists become models and pose for classmates, which is really fun and quite entertaining. Students use visual aids and watch the videos which are included in the lessons. And then we get to sculpt with clay! Â
