Automatic Spring Time Change
The time change occurs automatically if the 3AM hour is left unscheduled (blank), and the events scheduled for 3AM are scheduled into the 2AM hour.
Check windows settings:
Double click on the time display in the Windows Task Bar
Click Change Date and Time Settings
Click on Change Time Zone
Check Automatically Adjust clock for Daylight Savings
Change the Schedule:
Go to Menu/Scheduler screen
Click on SUNDAY 3am, press the Yellow Hour button and save it named as 3am hour
Select SUNDAY 2am, press the Gray Hour button
Double click on 3am hour file to apply the hour
Clear out all events from the SUNDAY 3am hour
Press Save
Manual Spring Time Change
Check windows settings:
Double click on the time display in the Windows Task Bar
Click Change Date and Time Settings
Click on Change Time Zone
UNCheck Automatically Adjust clock for Daylight Savings
Choose the hour that the station will make the change. It does not have to be 2 am on Sunday
If the chosen hour is a Satellite hour, wait for a time between breaks and before the next Floating Break start time.
For an Automated hour the time for this procedure is at the start of a song
Go to Menu/On Air screen
Press Stop Automation
Right Click on Clear to Clear the playlist
Go to the Date and Time Properties screen and change the Windows Clock time to the new time (forward one hour)
Press Start Automation
Go to the Date and Time Properties screen and recheck Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving time
Fall Back
Automatic FALL BACK Time Change
Check windows settings:
Double click on the time display in the Windows Task Bar
Click Change Date and Time Settings
Click on Change Time Zone
Check Automatically Adjust clock for Daylight Savings
Change the Schedule:
Go to Menu/Scheduler screen
Select SUNDAY 2am hour
For an Automated hour (Music or pre-recorded programs):
Remove ALL Drops or Timed Breaks
Schedule only SONG events and spots, and not specific song files
Ie: SONG, SONG1, SONG3, SONG4
This hour will play twice!
For a Satellite hour:
Delete ALL events
There cannot be ANY timed events, such as TBREAKs or FBREAKs.
Manual Fall time change
Check windows settings:
Double click on the time display in the Windows Task Bar
Click Change Date and Time Settings
Click on Change Time Zone
UnCheck Automatically Adjust clock for Daylight Savings
Choose the hour that the station will make the change. It does not have to be 1am on Sunday
If the chosen hour is a Satellite hour, wait for a time between breaks and before the next Floating Break start time.
For an Automated hour the time for this procedure is at the start of a song
Go to Menu/On Air screen
Press Stop Automation
Right Click on Clear to Clear the playlist
Go to the Date and Time Properties screen and change the Windows Clock time to the new time (back one hour)
Press Start Automation
