Importing 3rd Party Traffic & Music
The Traffic file must contain all non-music events, such as Liners, ID, Spots, & Automation Commands, such as Timed Breaks, Drops, etc.
Import Traffic Log
Save traffic logs to the C:>Arrakis>Xtreme>Traffic folder
In Xtreme, open the Menu>Scheduler screen
Press the Import button
Click Find File to Import
Select and Open the appropriate traffic file
Press Assign to Traffic
A message will appear showing how many events were imported, the day of the week & hours the traffic file was applied to.
Traffic files will always be imported to the day according to the DATE.
Merge Music Logs with Traffic FIle
Import Traffic following the directions above.
Select and Open the appropriate music log
Press Merge Imported Music
A message will appear showing how many music files were merged, the day of the week & hours the file was applied to.
Merge Traffic Log with Internal Music Templates
Import Traffic following the directions above.
Press Merge Music Template
Select and Open the appropriate music log
Press Merge Imported Music
A message will appear asking if you'd like to merge the music sequentially (traffic start times take precedence) or by the START time of the music.
A message will appear showing which hours do not have music templates, if any, press OK
Merge Categories or Pre-assigned Music Rotations with Traffic Log.
Must use Type D-H or Numbered categories in Air Schedule for this to work.
Import Traffic following the directions above.
Press Merge Auto-Music
A message will appear showing how many music files were merged.
Import a Pre-merged Traffic & Music Logs
Click on Import
Press Assign Generic
Select and Open the appropriate log
Click on Assign Generic.
A message will appear showing how many files were imported
