Xtreme Settings Check Boxes
In the Xtreme setup screen, one may name bridge source channels, jock folders, reload the Audio Library files & update the monthly or annual Bridge authorization code.
IMPORTANT: Hi Windows Priority, Classic Com Prt Mode must always be checked. Windows 10 mode must be checked when running on Windows 10 or 11.
Start and Kill dates: Start and Kill dates are used when wanting certain spots, songs, etc. to only be played for a certain time of year or from certain dates, i.e. Christmas song.
Cart Rotation: Cart rotations are used for rotating non-music type files, such as Station IDs, Liners, Jingles, etc.
All files in the cart rotation will have the same base cart number, followed by (-) and a two digit number up to 99.
For example: 10000-01, 10000-02, 10000-03, 10000 being the base cart number.
Random Rotation: Creates a random playlist from all of the carts that are in use. Best if you have more than 20 carts have been created.
Classic Intro/extro: Classic Intro/Extro settings are primarily a matter of listening preference. In time to voice and EOM times must be set for all non-type S files in order to have tight audio transitions. FIles must be trimmed and normalized prior to marking these points.
Random List Play: Follows a set pattern that can be adjusted, such as JMMM, which is Jingle, Music, Music, Music, you can alter as needed. More information below ....
Hi Windows Priority: Causes a majority of system resources to be allocated to Digilink-Xtreme for better operation.
Time Sync: Allows for time sync with either internet time or satellite time due to closures. Require physical wiring between the Bridge & Satellite Receiver.
Test Mode: Monitors and logs every action in Xtreme. Should only be done when told by an Arrakis technician.
Auto-FTP updates: Enables updates to subscription as long as there is a stable internet connection.
Xsched Mode: For use on production systems as it just allows for editing and scheduling changes without the use of a Bridge
Classis Com Prt Mode: Should always be checked.
Windows 10 mode: Sets it to be used only when running the Windows 10 operating system.

Check Random List Play
A window will pop up where you may change the pattern of file types played to meet your immediate needs.
Delete the default pattern
Type in a new pattern
Click on Save
For example: LSSSMMMLMMM
The hour will begin with a Liner, Spot, Spot, Spot followed by 3 songs, Liner, 3 Songs, Liner & then Repeat
