Participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank (2026) as low-income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle-income economies. This includes all countries in South America, as well as a wide range of eligible countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Europe/Eurasia, South-East Asia, South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. A complete alphabetical list of eligible countries is provided below.
Fee for listeners / attendees
Participants attending the conference without presenting any paper or other academic contribution.
The payment deadline for this category is extended until Thursday, 25 June 2026.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE?
Onsite participation
The conference fee includes a conference bag and full access to all onsite sessions and keynotes (including those of the doctoral school), as well as all online presentations. It also covers coffee breaks, regular and vegetarian lunches on the first and second days, and a special paella lunch (with regular and vegetarian options) on the third day. Additional inclusions are the opening reception, a post-conference city walking tour, and access to university facilities such as computer rooms and the library.
Participants are also invited to submit papers and chapters for peer-reviewed publication with academic publishers, including Routledge.
Please note: The gala dinner is not included in the conference fee. Tickets must be purchased separately during registration.
Online participation
Online participants will have access to all online presentations and can engage by leaving comments and interacting asynchronously with presenters. They will also have access to the keynote sessions: some will be available via live streaming, while all will be made available afterwards through recorded versions.
Online participation does not include access to onsite activities or services (such as meals, social events, or physical facilities). Online participants are also invited to submit papers and chapters for peer-reviewed publication with academic publishers, including Routledge.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellation or modification requests must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat: arle2026@alocongressqcw.com
. Cancellations received on or before 15 April 2026 will be refunded in full.
. Cancellations received from 16 April to 1 May 2026 (inclusive) will be refunded minus an administrative fee of 50 €.
. Cancellations received from 2 May to 15 June 2026 (inclusive) will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee.
. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 15 June 2026, or in case of no-show.
Refunds will be processed after the Congress using the same payment method whenever possible.
No refunds will be issued in case of programme changes, cancelled sessions, or changes to the Congress schedule.
