With tickets confirmed and purchased, guests head down a massive glowing hallway with dangling lights until they reach a large, wooden arched doorway. The doorway's sides glow with rainbow energy, and stepping in you reach the Santa's Workshop of your imagination. It's a technicolor, magical atrium of swirling conveyor belts, moving toys, bouncing balls, and animatronic elves bobbing up and down on wires, adjusting conveyor belts this way on that. Machines steam and brighten, shaking, as toys enter a box and emerge completely different, like the PYM technology at DCA. The room is literally what you imagine when you think of the Workshop: Colorful, chaotic, magical, and altogether a factory where dreams are made alive. In all Omega Mart spirit, you can see many children's toys with a corporate twist (due to its magical dose of Additive C, as Winterland reminds you it IS NOT the real thing, it's merely a Dramcorp factory that goes crazy). If your eyes are good enough, you can see some of the strangest items on the belts:
A giant "Operation" box where you can dissect a screaming boy's face, with images showing tweezers that can pull the eyes out. ("Cry YOUR eyes out!")
A jack-in-the-box that occasionally bursts open, revealing a giant peanut on a spring
A smexy porcelain Shrek doll in a ballerina costume, who can manually twirl on the surface
A crying stuffed animal egg
Real recalled Barbie dolls- including pregnant Barbie, Video camera Barbie, Sugar Daddy Ken
An avocado toy car with an upside-down mouse inside it (no questions asked)
A box labeling a chemistry kit for love potions ("NUCLEAR reactions!"
A purple elephant
A green giraffe
And more...
As the main atrium for all things Winterland, this area will branch off like Omega Mart with secret entrances everywhere, but for now, in the distance you can see a clear doorway marked "Toys of Mind" that leads to the next clear Meowwolf exhibit room. A balcony borders the edges of the room, and up the stairs is the second floor, access to Santa's House and the land's signature dark ride, whose ride vehicles weave across the factory.
