We have two of these speaker boxes in the theatre, rigged on booms on each side of the balcony.
I wanted to look into the specific specs of these speakers to know more about the PA system while mixing on it.
Knowing things such as the full frequency response and the max SPL (sound pressure level) will be useful knowledge during PA tuning and mixing.
These boxes contain a 12" woofer driver and a 3" tweeter. These are 500W passive speakers so will need an amplifier with sufficient power.
These smaller 10" driver speaker boxes are used to fill in lost frequencies for those sat in the near middle of the seating. They differ from the larger 12" mains with different coverage angles.
They have a lower max SPL but also are lower powered speakers at only 300W. There are two driven from a single channel of a 1100W amplifier in our system which works.
They feature a 10" woofer and a 2" tweeter.
Below is the official spec sheet that I found with a full datasheet of details about these speakers.
