In her company, she works mostly with small corporations and partnerships and associated individuals. When not working toward a tax deadline, she supports her clients with bookkeeping, quarterly accounting, payroll and tax planning services. It consists of the primary market for private placements, initial public offerings (IPOs), and warrants; and the secondary market, where existing shares are sold, as well as futures, options, and other listed securities are traded.
Within investment banking and private equity, Lauren has specialized in equity capital markets. She helps companies raise capital by selling equity ownership in their businesses. This is often in the form of an IPO (initial public offering). She has worked on IPOs for Airbnb, Uber, Snowflake, Tesla, Roku, among hundreds of others. In this role, she has a close connection with the stock market, corporate finance, investor sentiment and macroeconomic events. She is currently a Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman.
