TuesdayIn class = Students will be welcomed to the new school year. They will share how they spent their summer break and learn about the importance of Arabic as a language. Introduce the importance of learning Arabic (language of the Qur’an, culture, and communication). Discuss and establish classroom rules and expectations for Arabic class with students including how they should be prepared for class and how materials should be organized. Encourage students to participate positively and create a welcoming and respectful Arabic learning environment.Students need to purchase the Arabic textbook-In the Arabic Language Garden 1, In the Arabic Language Garden 1 Workbook, and a notebook specifically for Arabic class.
Thursday
In class =Students will review and reinforce the Arabic classroom rules and expectations to ensure that they clearly understand the rules and know what is expected of them throughout the new school year. Students will have an opportunity to discuss the rules, ask questions, and clarify any expectations. Review of Arabic Alphabet – Sounds and Forms
Students will review the Arabic alphabet, its sounds, and how letters are written in different positions (beginning, middle, end).

In Class:
Students will review Arabic letters, short and long vowels, Sukūn, and Shaddah.They will distinguish between short vowels (ـَ / ـُ / ـِ) and long vowels (ا، و، ي), for example: بَ، بِ، بُ and با، بي، بو. Students will also review Sukūn (ـْ) and Shaddah (ـّ), identify the letters carrying these signs, and practice reading words such as: أرْنب، فأْر، يقْرأ، بيْت، مفْتاح، تمْساح، بطَّة، درَّاجة، سبُّورة، معلِّم، مربَّع.
Homework:
Practice reading the examples from class and review short and long vowels, Sukūn, and Shaddah.
In Class:
The students will review the difference between Alif Mamdūdah (ا) and Alif Maqṣūrah (ى) at the end of words. Examples include ماما، بابا، بطاطا with ا, and هدى، ليلى، بشرى، سلمى، نجوى with ى.
The students will also review Tāʾ Marbūṭah (ة) and Hāʾ (ه) at the end of words. Examples include عائشة، وردة، لعبة، سميرة، هدية، سيارة، شاة، نظيفة with ة, and وجوه، وجه، مياه with ه.
Students will sort words into four groups according to their final letter: ا / ى / ة / ه.
Homework:
Write 3 words with Alif Mamdūdah (ا), 3 words with Alif Maqṣūrah (ى), 3 words ending in Tāʾ Marbūṭah (ة), and 3 words ending in Hāʾ (ه).

Students will begin reading simple syllables and words by combining letters with vowels.
Week 4(Sep 21-25)

In class =Students continue practicing the letter (أ). They learn how to write this letter at the beginning, middle, and end of words. Additionally, the students practice the conversation and adjusting it for both masculine and feminine forms on page 9.
Homework= Practice asking and answering questions about names and grades.
Tuesday
In class =Students continue practicing the letter (أ). Students will practice creating similar conversations, adapting them for both masculine and feminine forms, based on the example on page 9.
Homework = Practice the dialogue on page 9 until you can say it fluently. Write the conversation and related questions and answers (Q&A) in your notebook.
Thursday
In class =Study the material in the textbook كتاب في حديقة العربية 1 on page 10. Start exploring the letter 'ب', focusing on its writing in isolation and in different positions, pronunciation with long and short vowels, and building vocabulary with words that include 'ب'. Also, work on constructing simple sentences using these words.
Homework = Complete the exercises for the letter 'ب' in the workbook pages 6-7.
In class =Students practice how Arabic letters sound with short vowels (fatḥah, ḍammah, kasrah) and long vowels (alif, wāw, yā’).
