THE TABLE OF CONTENTS
The Infernal Arena is a Solo-Only room similar to the Celestial Arena.
The last five fights are the only ones with varying mechanics.
As such, we will address possible solutions to the fights below.
Most of these solutions are not going to be the fastest, nor will they be very mechanically intensive. They are meant to be reliable and semi-comfortable to obtain and use.
This guide is written for players who are likely learning how mechanics work for the first Time, and might be lacking the later Forge Enhancements.
There are five rooms with mechanics.
They are respectively:
Reviled Returner: -(Deadly Duo Room)
Reign of the Deer: -(Cervus Malus Room)
Ars Infernum: -(Key of Sholemoh Room)
Unrepentent Culler: -(Azalith's Scythe Room)
Lord of the Scarred Barrens: -(Na'al Room)
General recommendations:
Make sure you have Boosted Weapons. They can be found on the Progress Checks page and will make a significant impact.
Make sure you have the Classes or Enhancements listed in each of the subsections.
Please jump to each section to see what you need to prepare, as they are all independent.
Deadly Duo: 350,000 HP
50,000 Boss Shield
Body Slam:
Auto Attack: 1,150-1,250 damage, applies DoT to the player for 1 second.
Meal Prep + Dinner Time:
Every 15 seconds:
Charges for 3 seconds.
Bites you for 70% of Max HP.
Regenerates for 33% of its Max HP over 2 seconds.
This heal can be Decayed
This heal can be reduced by Damage Reduction.
Solution:
Basically, use Decay on Dinner Time, or outdamage its Heal, or reduce its outgoing damage.
Heal after it uses Dinner Time.
Recommendations:
Classes:
ArchPaladin, Chaos Avenger, Verus DoomKnight, Legion Doomknight, Dragon of Time, Void Highlord, Unundead Goat, SwordMaster.
Alpha Omega: Aim for the second prompt, "and it's you!", to use your 3rd Skill to Decay. Using it too early will cause the Decay to wear off before the regeneration does.
Forge Enhancements:
If you lack enough damage, the usage of the Praxis Forge Enhancement is recommended for its stacking damage.
Keep in mind that you cannot use Spinning Dragon to parry Deadly Duo's Damage over Time effects.
Cervus Malus: 400,000 HP
50,000 Boss Shield
Bite:
Auto Attack: 760-860 damage, applies DoT to the player for 6 seconds.
Contrarium:
Every 10 seconds:
Hits you for 60% of current HP.
Reduces Healing by 200% for 4 seconds.
This causes most forms of Healing to Damage you instead.
Solution:
When Contrarium is active, the negative Healing intake causes:
Self-DoTs to heal you.
Self-HoTs along with normal heals will damage you.
Lifesteal based healing bypasses this.
Recommendations:
Classes:
Use classes with built-in lifesteal, or just wait for Contrarium to fade before healing.
Classes: Verus DoomKnight, Chaos Avenger, Void Highlord, ArchPaladin, Unundead Goat.
Key of Sholemoh: 500,000 HP
50k Boss Shield
Laser Beam:
Auto Attack: 1,000 damage.
True Damage attacks that ignore your Damage Resistance.
Hyper Beam Charge + Hyper Beam:
Every 18 seconds:
Charges for 4 seconds.
Hits for 3,000 True Damage.
Solution:
Constant True Damage autos and a True Damage nuke means:
Need enough max HP to tank the damage.
Need enough healing to outlive the damage.
Recommendations:
Classes:
Dragon of Time (Lifesteal) with Healer Enhancements.
ArchPaladin (Health Vamp).
Dragonsoul Shinobi (HoT, Endurance, and Spinning Dragon (parry))
Potions:
Revitalize or Renew Elixirs can be used optionally to maximize survival chances.
Awe Enhancements:
Run Health Vamp if you need the extra healing.
Forge Enhancements:
If your class relies on Healing to recover, like ArchPaladin, do not use Vainglory, as that will slash your Healing.
You may use Vainglory if your class relies on lifesteal for recovery, like Dragon of Time.
Using traited Forge Helmets are not recommended, as they reduce your Endurance and consequently your max HP.
Praxis Forge Enhancement can be used for using its Spinning Dragon active to parry the Nuke.
Azalith's Scythe: 400,000 HP
50k Boss Shield
Eviscerate:
Auto Attack: 300-350 damage.
Decapitate
Every 10 seconds:
Hits you for 70% of current HP.
Solution:
The Scythe has 3x Crit Damage and guaranteed Crit Chance, as well as 100% Evasion.
Recommendations:
Class Setups: Classes with autohit skills or dodge debuffing skills, Lifesteal based heals bypass dodge
Lord of Order: Requires you to Time your Heals and chip away at the Scythe with its 100% guaranteed hits.
Shaman: 5th Skill debuffs the Scythe's Dodge entirely. Mana Vamp and Revitalize Elixir for regaining Mana and HP.
Chaos Avenger: Forge Lacerate Weapon, Forge Anima Helm.
Void Highlord: Lacerate Weapon, Anima Helm, Vainglory Cape.
Alternatively, Full Luck is an even lower requirement, though it will be slower.
Drakkar Knight: All skills (except Auto) are AutoHit, and self HoT makes it consistently comfortable.
Na'al: 1,500,000 HP
75k Boss Shield
Idle:
Na'al is AFK for 12 seconds.
They have -500% Damage Resistance during this phase.
Quake:
Auto Attack: Hits you for 20% of current HP.
Veni + Vidi + Vici:
Every 15 seconds:
Veni: Applies a DoT that deals 200% of the player's max HP for 1 second.
Vidi:
3 seconds after Veni.
Applies another DoT that deals 200% of the player's max HP for 1 second.
Vici:
Hits you for 70% of current HP.
Reduces Na'al's Damage Resistance by -500% for 4 seconds.
Solution:
Use classes with enough Damage Reduction and good heals.
If you are sufficiently geared for Endgame per the Progress Checks page, know how to use potions well, and have Endgame boosted equipment, you can try bursting him to death during his Idle phase.
Recommendations:
Classes:
ArchPaladin:
During Veni, use Skill 4: Righteous Seal.
During Vidi, use Skill 5: Sacred Magic: Eden.
After receiving Vici damage, use Skill 3: Hymn of Light.
After receiving 2-3 Quake attacks, use Skill 3, Hymn of Light.
Repeat for the duration of the fight.
Void Highlord (Will survive regular fight. Can also use burst strategy with Potions and Dauntless weapon)
Chaos Avenger
Dragon of Time (Burst strategy with Potions, Elysium weapon. Will die instantly upon Na'al casting Veni due to lack of DR.)
Verus DoomKnight
Forge Enhancements:
Using Traited Forge helms is a good option since they reduce your Max HP, meaning receiving less damage from the boss's HP-percent damaging skills.
Penitence Cape can be used for safety.
