The reflection process for APG's Preparatory Evaluation was conducted in a collaborative and structured manner, involving key leaders, department heads, and coordinators. Regular meetings, convened by the Head of School, ensured active participation and comprehensive discussions, setting a strong foundation for the school’s development and preparation for the self-study.
How did we approach the reflection process for the Preparatory Evaluation?
Initial Meetings with Senior Leadership Team: The process began with meetings involving the Senior Leadership Team and the APG CIS point person, clarifying goals and aligning with CIS standards.
Cascading to Domain Leaders: Responsibilities were then passed to domain leaders, who gathered and curated evidence for their assigned areas. This expanded approach ensured comprehensive evidence collection.
Challenges in Evidence Collection: Gathering and organizing evidence was a significant challenge, with initial delays in submitting required documentation. However, most evidence was provided during the review by the Review Team, allowing the process to continue.
How has the process clarified and affirmed our strengths?
Commitment to Improvement: The reflection process confirmed the school’s resilience and dedication to continuous improvement, with the team overcoming challenges to meet deadlines.
