The PEARL Awardee from the Batch 2022, shared how a speech by the APG Head of School, inspired her and had a lasting impact on her as a student. --"2,340. This is the number of morning assemblies I have attended since 2008, but one stood out: It was a speech delivered by a woman who is no less than brilliant and inspirational. I was fascinated by the words she chose, the phrases she used, and the powerful voice and body language that I've seen. I wanted to be a leader just like her. Thank you for inspiring me to be the person I am today."
The Batch 2022 Valedictorian talked about achieving excellence in his speech during the graduation day ceremony "But achieving excellence is not something that can be done alone. So, on behalf of my fellow graduates, I would like to extend my appreciation to the parents, the teachers and school staff, the siblings, the friends, and the relatives who supported us on our journey as learners ever since we were those small first-graders. "
He also shared his own reflection on a familiar quote: "Try and fail, but never fail to try," disregarding the fact that sleepless nights spent trying to finish exam materials may not be the best application of it. Nonetheless, putting in the effort to try new things is what makes an excellent learner.
