The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints provides both doctrinally-grounded and community-based assistance to prevent suicide and minister to those who are suffering from the pain of a loved one's suicide. Church assistance is available at Suicide Prevention and Ministering.
Triangle Survivors of Suicide provides support groups (in-person and virtual) and other tools to support survivors. In-person groups meet in Raleigh, Wake Forest, and Chapel Hill.
Suicide.org is a non-profit organization and website dedicated to suicide prevention, awareness, and support for survivors. Some of the information may be out of date or nor original source. There is a list of suicide support groups, including groups in North Carolina.
