Lantern Golem

THE FORGE

When Anyrii started forming connections with humans, the need to hide from mortals became an increasing concern as the monarchs and smaller village chiefs called out for a manhunt on Witches and those intuned with the devil. At first, nothing was done but when the humans started pointing fingers and accused hosts of Anyrii. Isolation or alternatives to hiding the Anyrii from prying eyes became a focus. Thus a desperate artificer, Lowe, created a lantern golem from what we now know as The Forge.

These Lantern Golems had durable bodies and could store Anyrii and be used as temporary hosts. However, they were not recommended for long-term use as the Anyrii would eventually wear down the golem. Nowadays, golems are used to store non-sentient Anyrii wisps as incubators. While the original Forge used by Lowe no longer had the capacity to be used for Lantern Golem creation, other sanctums have created their own Artificial Forges. Though some artificial forges such as The Gates of Hell in Turkmenistan, Yantras, or Centralia.
