Baja SAE is a design competition in which students from universities all over the world participate to design and build an off-road recreational vehicle capable of withstanding rugged terrain and competing in various challenges including maneuverability, acceleration, and endurance. The vehicle will be designed and built by a 20-member team who will spend countless hours fabricating, assembling, testing and perfecting the race car to take it next summer for the SAE Baja competition. They will also drink lots of coffee and muse about life in general.
