Banpongsanook school opened for the first time by teaching at Wat Pong Sanuk Tai. In the year Chula Sakarat 1284 (Buddhist Era 2465), there was Kruba Thammachai, the abbot, teaching at the temple hall. Banpongsanook school is now Located at 10 Chamthewi Road, Soi 1, Wiang Nuea Subdistrict, Mueang Lampang District, Lampang Province 52000. This school has 2 types of programs in the classroom which are for Normal program and Mini English Program (MEP), this school also has a kindergarten. this school has a high quality of education, so many teachers from abroad teach at Banpongsanook school.

Bangpongsanook school has a very modern and qualified academic support system for students in learning. This school has two field facilities that can be used in learning practices, meeting rooms, they also have classes for normal programs and MEP (Mini English Program), canteen, sports hall, teacher's room, stationery and snack shop, art performance stage, library, laboratory equipment, and computer room. This school also has modern technology facilities such as Television, Microphone, printer, projector, and internet that can be used by teachers during teaching in class.

The teaching system at Banpongsanook school is that lessons take place on Monday to Friday because Saturday is a holiday. School lessons start from 08.30 - 16.30 and at 11.30 - 12.30 is the time for lunch and rest, then learning starts again at 12.30 and ends at 15.30. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday they held a ceremony. In learning activities, students learning textbooks are placed in the classroom.
