I observed primary 1 in Normal Program students at Banpongsanook School with the subject of English by Miss. Suthatip Pothisan or Kru' Mye (Kru' for teachers in Thailand).

The lesson began with students greeting "Good morning teacher" by cupping both hands, then I introduced myself in front of the students and began to observe from the back of the class, followed by the teacher explaining the material about "Color", the teacher used the teacher center learning method and use lecture method for explained the topic. In class, the teacher often uses the question and answer method to students. The teacher explains the material with TV media in front of the class and uses pictures from the book. Students continue to work on the questions in the book and then discuss together in class about the correct answer.

The teacher uses learning materials including activity books, whiteboard, notebooks and uses a television to display images from the activity book "Express English for grade 1" and also displays learning videos so that students more understand the material being explained. Before the lesson begins the teacher prepares a lesson plan. 

The learning innovation carried out during teaching activities is that the teacher provides stimuli such as playing together such as pointing to objects in the classroom and then interpreting them together on the topic being studied, so that students understand more about English vocabulary.

The authentic assessment used by the teacher is by giving students the task of answering questions in the activity book "Express English in grade 1", writing vocabulary in a notebook on the subject of English with the topic "What do I have" in primary 1, and the teacher also makes observations about student activeness in class by asking several questions on the whiteboard on the topic being studied.
