Hello all!

My name is Andrew Hazelton (I usually go by Andy) and I am currently an associate scientist at the University of Miami/CIMAS, working at NOAA's Hurricane Research Division (HRD).

I have been interested in weather since I was about 5 years old, and love studying and learning about weather and science of all types.  My particular interest (as you can see from my research, publications, and some of the cover photos) is tropical cyclones.  As a Florida native, I experienced several hurricanes growing up, and now I get to do research (and teach) about them!
