About Me
I grew up in Central Florida (Plant City and Lakeland), where my passion for meteorology grew out of the hurricanes and summer thunderstorms that are a way of life in the Sunshine State.
I spent 7 years in Tallahassee, Florida getting 3 degrees (BS, MS, PhD) from FSU, and Tallahassee will always have a special place in my heart.
Until moving to Princeton from 2016-2018, the only year I lived outside of Florida was 1997-1998, when my family was in Colorado for a year. I experienced snow for the first time there, including a White Christmas!
