A Class Survey

La classe English Plus si sta preparando ad affrontare gli esami di certificazione B1 in cui è prevista una prova di Speaking.

Vi presentiamo una unità di microlearning: partendo da 'FAQ' sugli stili di vita dei teenager gli studenti svolgono il questionario da loro stessi creato e presentano i risultati.

In Class STEP 1

Thanks to Mr. Simon Vicary - an ESL expert teacher - students in turns are entourage to focus on a main TOPIC: TEENAGERS' LIFESTYLE AT HOME/IN CLASS. Main ideas are note down.

  • The teachers asks a group of students (Sara, Francesco & Chiara) to build up a survey by using a GOOGLE FORM.
  • Other students are asked to watch the following video at home:VIDEO BY engVId

At HOME STEP 1

Sara, Francesco & Chiara made suitable questions about teenagers' lifestyles (school, friends, home...)

Then sent an invitation to their classmates through emails and wrote a post onto GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

Students replied online to the questionnaire.

In Class STEP 2

Sara, Francesco & Chiara show the results to their classmates as they are clearly shown by pie charts.

IN PAIRS students reflect on the results then share their ideas with the class. EACH PAIR has 3 min talk.

In Class STEP 3

After a brainstorming session, language functions are noted down on the board by Mr Simon Vicary.

At Home STEP 4
