First Blood is a collection of five 55-card preconstructed decks for introductory games of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. These decks are simpler than tournament level decks, but showcase all the basic mechanics of the game. They are balanced, for a fun and exciting first try of Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. They are fully functional cards, ready to mix with cards from other sets.

To make Vampire: The Eternal Struggle more accessible to new players, Black Chantry will make these introductory decks available to retailers at a reduced price compared to our other products.

First Blood: Malkavian (SKU: BCP018)

Clan Malkavian are seers and lunatics both – eerie oracles of vampire society. While plagued by afflictions of the mind, they are gifted with supernatural insight.

This deck is very aggressive, focusing on heavy bleeding under the cover of stealth, with just a splash of defensive capability.

First Blood: Nosferatu (SKU: BCP019)

Clan Nosferatu are horrors, grotesquely deformed by the Embrace. They hide in shadows and underground darkness, commanding animals as spies and allies in battle.

This deck is all-round – it has stealth to land key actions with precision, a strong reaction module and a brutal Animalism combat package.

First Blood: Toreador (SKU: BCP020)

Clan Toreador are artists and divas, obsessed with beauty and passion. They are the social elite among the undead, mesmerizing and awestriking to behold.

This deck uses a “lock and bleed” tactic to trick its way through enemy defenses. It does damage with both bleeds and political actions, and has a light defensive module.

First Blood: Tremere (SKU: BCP021)

Clan Tremere are vampiric warlocks, masters of rituals of Blood Sorcery. Their powers make them arrogant and deadly, and they always lust for more occult lore.

This deck hits with a “bruise and bleed” tactic, trying to scare off blocking attempts with superior combat skills. It has a strong defensive module based on the Auspex discipline.

First Blood: Ventrue (SKU: BCP022)

Clan Ventrue are the ”blue bloods”, the self-proclaimed rulers of all vampires and mortals. They seek to lead by any means necessary – manipulating the weak, destroying the strong.

This deck is very all-round, with a strong offence with both bleeding and political actions, and a stable defence with Fortitude combat cards and effective reactions.
