Analysis Unit

With this final unit, we return to a familiar genre. Most likely, you have gotten your feet wet with a literary analysis earlier  in your schooling, and I can almost guarantee that you will compose more in a variety of future classes. 

Focusing on a fictional piece of media, you will closely examine how that piece represents an identity. Though the organization of this essay is much easier than the previous two, analysis is a higher order thinking skill. In addition, towards the end of the process, you will incorporate a small amount of secondary research to practice MLA citations and prepare you for the Composition 2.
