I remember reading that the strategy of the US Government for 30 years was to cause the Soviet Union to collapse on its own by going into debt. Spending on Armed forces, cost of maintaining control over satellite states and spending on the space race.

One of the suggested causes of stagnation was the increased military expenditure over consumer goods and other economic spheres.

The Soviet Union officially fell on December, 26 1991 when the USSR was dissolved and the communist-era policies of the region ceased.

The USSR's weakened military and economy following World War II saw an initial boost from communist politics and economic direction.

However, soon this economic system could not compete on the global stage.

Now it appears that the shoe is on the other foot. Could it be, that we could be seeing the demise of the United States due to unwarranted spending?

YES! We desperately need to rebuild our infrastructure, meaning roads, highways, bridges, electric grid, water supply, sewage systems and education infrastructure, meaning the buildings!!!

The Republican plan would only cost $568 Billion.

In their plan, GOP senators specifically list roads and bridges, public transit systems, rail, drinking water & wastewater infrastructure, ports & inland waterways, airports, safety, broadband infrastructure and water storage.

The framework calls for:

$299 billion for roads and bridges
$61 billion for public transit,
$20 billion for rail
$35 billion for drinking water and wastewater
$13 billion for safety
$17 billion for ports and waterways
$44 billion for airports
$65 billion for broadband
$14 billion for water storage

Under Biden's plan, the transportation section alone is $53 billion more than the entire GOP plan.

WHY???

Their transportation plan is the fairytale dream of electric vehicles such as aircraft???

Want to ride in an electric powered airplane when this happens to electric cars?

It’s just one example of Democrats rushing into a project without forethought and proper planning.

The full environmental cost of biofuels is only now becoming clear. Corn is the chief plant for biofuel in America. As the demand for corn for biofuel increases so does the price for biofuel corn. Farmers who grow other crops are switching over to biofuel corn to cash in on this new oil well. At the time that the demand for biofuel corn raises so is the demand for food crops, this demand for food crops that was being met by the farmer who switched to biofuel corn is now being met by farmers in Brazil and elsewhere. To grow this food crop in Brazil farmers had to clear prehistoric rain forest to make room for these crops that require sunlight. Slash and burn of the rain forest of Brazil and many other places in the world.

Biden has proposed paying for his plan primarily by increasing the corporate tax rate from 21% to 28%.

Working Americans are not dependent on Unemployment or public assistance. Made in America means we are independent and don’t have to rely on imports which is now clogging our supply lines. We import most of our medicine from China! They could at anytime shut off that medicine.

overtax and over regulate them and they pack up their corporation with their money, and jobs and go to countries that wants them, and countries that has workers that will work for lower pay and little if any benefits!!!

This bill, essentially a far left wish list of climate and social spending boondoggles, will certainly exacerbate inflation if passed by the Senate. Hence the absence of public support for BBB. A new Harvard/Harris poll asked registered voters, “Do you think a $1.5 to $2 trillion dollar social spending bill will lead to more inflation, less inflation, or would it have no effect on inflation?” A majority (56%) answered, “More.”

It’s increasingly apparent that the specter of inflation is haunting the pocketbooks of most Americans. According to a new Economist/YouGov poll, 76 percent of Americans reported that the price of gas had “gone up a lot” during the past year. The survey also found that 65 percent had experienced significant price increases for food. Moreover, when likely voters are asked about how BBB would affect the nation’s economy in general, it gets a thumbs down. A new survey released by the Trafalgar Group asked likely voters if the bill will be helpful or hurtful to America’s economic recovery?” A majority (52.4%) said that it would be very or somewhat hurtful. Many people want the free stuff and feel that the government is made of money. They feel that they are entitled to free health care. The old Soviet Union had free health care, big hospitals with lots of beds, and it’s true, but what many people don’t understand is that these hospitals had little medicine and little to no medical instruments such as heart monitors or Xray equipment. The people went to the hospital to die.

It cost money to develop medicine and medical equipment, money that was stretched thin in the Soviet Union.

If the American government is not careful and the American people allow it, we could end up like Venezuela where it cost a wheelbarrow full of money to buy bread. Oil export earnings had enabled the government headed by Hugo Chavez from 1999 to 2013 to pay for social programs intended to combat poverty and inequality. From subsidies for those on low incomes to health services, the government’s spending obligations were high.

Then when President Trump made America energy independent the global price of oil dropped. Foreign demand for the bolívar to buy Venezuelan oil crashed. As the currency’s value fell, the cost of imported goods rose. The Venezuelan economy went into crisis.

Look at what’s occurring in America today, we are no longer energy independent, we import more than we export, and with the ports on the western harbors saturated with container ships, we are in trouble.

The only conclusion I can come too, is that the Democrats want America to fail!
