Within these operations are many different jobs, each with tasks, duties, responsibilities (TDRs), knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics (KSAOs). Three examples include:
1. Fulfillment Center Warehouse Associate:
TDRs: Receive and put away inventory. Receive customer orders, pick the ordered items from the pick locations, pack them, and prepare boxes for shipping.
KSAOs: Ability to drive PIT, work from heights, and conduct troubleshooting. Associates should be detail-oriented, possess basic computer literacy, and maintain physical stamina, as this is a fast-paced and active role.
2. Area Manager:
TDRs: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of associates. Work with new technology, deploy safety programs, manage shift timetables, improve processes, and set performance targets.
KSAOs: Leadership, mentoring, team management skills, technological competence, awareness of safety protocols, and problem-solving ability.
3. Operations Manager:
TDRs: Coordinate and supervise the whole fulfillment process, which includes logistics coordination, control of inventory movement, record keeping, and organization and cleanliness of inventories.
KSAOs: Excellent warehouse management system proficiency, great organizational skills, and inspection for damages while liaising with stakeholders in the delivery
