Section 2: Time Management and Goal Setting

1. Materials:

2. Setting up goals

 A complete guide for goal setting (Part 1 and 2)

3. Group assignment:

Share with the group the goals you want to achieve throughout the course. It can be personal or professional related. Describe the plan you wish to accomplish tighter with the weekly time you will set apart to accomplish it. This goal can be one of the ones you will develop later for your individual assignment or a different one. If you find another person with a similar purpose, comment on their post and try to connect. 

4. Individual Assignment:

Identify the three goals you want to accomplish in the next four to twelve weeks. You will create your plan, milestones, and how you will celebrate each landmark. Remember to consider time and where you will record your advancement (dairy, apps, etc.).

At the end of the course, you will submit a document stating how you feel if you accomplish your goals, what you can improve, and what you think can be different to achieve it. 

Section 3: Detachment from work

Share with the group your tips and trick to detach from work; you can answer the following questions or create your own outline: “How do I allow myself to detach from work and not feel guilty about it?” / “How do I ensure the time and space I need to achieve detachment from work?"

4. Individual assignment:

You will submit a brief two-paragraph document with a picture of the activity or moment you usually take to detach from work (it could be during work, e.g., during lunch break or off work). Remember to use the tips in the presentation, the video, and the podcast. You don't have to appear in the picture, just the place or activity you choose to engage in disengaging from work. The document needs to describe the action and why it helps you detach from work (see example). The more genuine copies will appear in the Health Section of our Newsletter of the Month.

Remember when you master a skill related or not related to work. Share with the group the time, effort, and favorable outcome after learning this skill. If you find someone who masters the same skill, please comment on their profile and connect with each other. 

 

5. Individual assignment: 

Provide a document with the skill you decided to work in through this course. Remember that mastering a skill or knowledge takes time and effort. Therefore, it needs to be a real skill to accomplish by the end of the course or the next three to six months if you continue implementing these techniques after the course finishes. Please consider an activity that will engage in a positive outcome.

3 . Group Assignment: 

Share with the groups some of the tips and tricks you have used in the past to control your weight and physical activity. If this is a new habit, share some of the easy steps you are thinking of doing this week. 

4. Individual Assignment:

According to the information provided, you will elaborate on a meal and exercise plan to implement in the next two weeks. Consider the benefits of healthy habits, food portions, and calorie counting. Mentioned the physical activities you will engage in these two weeks and backup moves in case you cannot complete it the day or times you were expected. Remember the tips in the second section on setting goals and managing your time. Your final assignment should contain your meal and exercise plan. If you use one of the apps recommended, you should upload a screenshot of your plan for each day.
