Trainees of the Shop were asked to produce a Christmas card or bookplate as part of their training. These early training exercises do not appear to have survived. However, more complicated card designs were also created. Some appear to have been made for specific individuals, and include the family's name. Others were more generic, and perhaps sold to Amache residents. The Hospital also commissioned special holiday menus for patients.
