This activity is excellent for developing an early grasp of CS and CT skills.

5.2.b Construct and implement culturally relevant learning activities that address a diverse range of ethical, social, and cultural perspectives on computing and highlight computing achievements from diverse role models and teams.

This activity is excellent for developing early grasp of CS and CT skills. This exercise is culturally significant as well. The younger generations are becoming more technologically savvy. Many children are familiar with drones because of social media platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, including YouTube for Kids. This also boosts students' confidence in their CS experiences.
