RoadLink: Device that offsets the position of your road derailleur to make it possible to run a wide-range mountain bike style cassette. 1x or 2x. It enables the derailleur to work with as large as a 40T cassette.
RoadLink DM: (Direct Mount) is the RoadLink that fits Shimano’s GRX 810 (RX810), R7000 105, R8000 and RX800 Ultegra and R9100 Dura-Ace rear derailleurs. Optimized for use with GRX ultra wide range drivetrains when using the GRX 810 (RX810) rear derailleur. Optimized for use with 11-36t, 11-40t, and 11-42t 11-speed cassettes. Will improve performance with 10-42t 11-speed cassettes, but not to factory levels
GoatLink: The GoatLink is simply the fastest route to improved wear and long-term shifting performance on wide-range 1x10 drivetrains using the Shimano Shadow+ Rear derailleurs. The GoatLink, made by Lindarets and Wolf Tooth, re-positions 10-speed Shimano Shadow+ Rear derailleurs to the optimal location when using the GC 40T and GC 42T cassette expanders. Compatible Shimano Shadow+ 10-speed rear derailleurs (clutch type ONLY) have a Direct Mount link (including spacer, if so equipped) or B-pivot knuckle with a thickness of 7.9-8.1mm. Shimano changed to this sometime in 2013. Very early Shadow+ rear derailleurs have a thinner link and are not compatible. The GoatLink is optimized for use with Wolf Tooth’s 40- and 42-tooth GCs and all sizes of Drop-Stop chainrings - but will work with any 11-40t or 11-42t 10-speed cassette. Direct Mount-native frames and SRAM rear derailleurs are not supported.
Tanpan: The Tanpan makes Shimano 10- and 11-speed road shifters work with 10- and 11-speed mountain bike rear derailleurs.
Compatible with most road, gravel and CX bikes.
Tiagra 4700 is compatible with Tanpan but for proper shifting use Tanpan 11spd and an 11spd rear derailleur with a 10spd cassette.
Deore M5100 rear derailleur is compatible with the Tanpan 11
ONLY Compatible with Tiagra 4700 when using Tanpan 11 and corresponding 11-speed derailleur.
The Tanpan 10 is compatible with Shimano M980, M780, M670, and M610 dérailleurs
10-speed Shimano mountain derailleurs may be used with only a slight decrease in shifting performance.
Shimano ST-RX400-R GRX 10 speed shift levers use a different cable pull than Shimano's 10 speed road shift levers. For proper shifting use Tanpan 11spd with a Shimano 11spd mountain rear derailleur and a 10spd cassette.
The Tanpan 11 is compatible with 11-speed Shimano road shifters and optimized for eleven-speed Shimano mountain derailleurs (includes new Dura Ace 9100)
The Tanpan 11 is designed to mount directly to adjuster-free cable stops on Shimano rear derailleurs. Tanpan 10 must be mounted inline for optimal performance.
