The Jewish Faculty Resilience Group (JFrg) at UCLA is a community of faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and staff, both Jewish and non-Jewish, dedicated to supporting the Jewish community on campus. Our non-partisan organization embraces diverse political perspectives, united in our mission to strengthen the Jewish community, build allyship, and counter antisemitism at UCLA.
We believe in peace and coexistence, mourning the suffering and loss of innocent civilians, including both Israelis and Palestinians.
Faculty for Academic Freedom and Against Antisemitism is a voluntary association of current and emeritus University of Illinois faculty from disciplines across our three campuses. Our mission is to:
(1) educate faculty, administration, students, and community members about the ways that academic freedom can be imperiled by campus anti-Zionist activism that seeks to marginalize, exclude, and boycott people and programs that believe that Jews have the right to self-government in Israel;
(2) advocate for campus and university policies that protect academic freedom for faculty whose teaching or research are threatened by groups hostile to their political views;
(3) recommend policies and practices that promote student wellbeing;
(4) analyze and critique public events that spread misinformation, endorse racist or antisemitic hate speech, or increase campus polarization;
(5) enhance the experience of community and solidarity among faculty committed to the principle that Israel has the right to exist as the homeland of the Jewish people, thereby combating the increasing sense of alienation and isolation that such faculty may experience at Illinois;
(6) support faculty teaching and research and projects that enrich the organization’s goals;
(7) support and defend faculty subjected to major false accusations or political or religious defamation, aggressions that can rise to the level of organized reputational assault.
AEN mobilizes networks of university faculty and administrators to counter antisemitism, oppose the denigration of Jewish and Zionist identities, promote academic freedom, and advance education about Israel. We aim to move faculty and university leaders to action to oppose antisemitism and to support an inclusive, welcoming campus learning community where Jewish and all students can feel like they belong. Our signature programs and initiatives provide faculty and administrators with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to speak up with authority on antisemitism, Israel, Jewish identity, and the diversity of the Jewish experience.
Founded in 1910, our mission is to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all. In response to the horrific October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel and subsequent global surge in antisemitism, ADL stands in solidarity with Israel -- and as a leading voice against antisemitism and hate.
AMCHA Initiative is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to investigating, documenting, educating about, and combating antisemitism at institutions of higher education in America. It's useful tools an Incident Database and an Anti-Zionist Faculty Barometer by campus.
Founded in 1982, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA) is a media-monitoring, research and membership organization devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East. CAMERA fosters rigorous reporting, while educating news consumers about Middle East issues and the role of the media. Because public opinion ultimately shapes public policy, distorted news coverage that misleads the public can be detrimental to sound policymaking. A non-partisan organization, CAMERA takes no position with regard to American or Israeli political issues or with regard to ultimate solutions to the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The Philos Project equips Christians to stand with Israel and the Jewish people, support persecuted Christians in the Middle East, and foster a revival of Western values rooted in the Hebraic origins of our faith. Their Generation Zion movement seeks to mobilize Christian and Jewish students on campus to confront the alliance of anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, and anti-Israel zealots at home and abroad.
