I first drafted a problem statement and chose an ISTE Standard that best aligned to my problem. I was able to do this through storyboarding.
Original Problem Statement: Teachers may struggle with new or different technology use and the effective implementation of it due to impacts of attitudes, needed extra time for backup plans, and/or lack of support for learning new technologies.
Original Standard: Learner 1a: Set professional learning goals to explore and apply pedagogical approaches made possible by technology and reflect on their effectiveness.
Then, I researched more, specifically the on the key words from the problem statement I created and standard I chose. I also researched for external sources to help me address the problem... here is the awesome resource I found!
This website was created by two technology coordinators (a very shortened name for their position) on the university level, and have been doing so for almost two years now. They began developing this website and adding to it while they were both teachers. Their goal was to create a website for teachers, to help them better acclimate and learn/be exposed to new technologies out there.
This served as a helpful resource for when picking out types of technology or platforms to help teachers with.
