Building upon the solid foundation laid during his undergraduate studies, Alinjar Dan embarked on a journey of scholarly pursuit at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Under the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) scheme, he pursued a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the control of legged robots. Mentored by Prof. S.K.Saha and Dr. Rama Krishna K from the same department, his research endeavours culminated in his PhD dissertation titled "Stability Analysis of Biped Robots". The thesis analyses biped robots' stability for real-world integration in disaster management and space exploration. It includes dynamic modelling, a methodology for stable locomotion on various surfaces, and an analysis of stance stability against external disturbances, including novel push recovery techniques. Videos from his PhD work are available on his YouTube channel .
Throughout his academic and professional journey, Alinjar's tenure as a PMRF fellow exemplifies his commitment to excellence and his ability to navigate the complexities of cutting-edge research with finesse. Alinjar looks forward to extending his work beyond the confines of academia as he actively seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical insights and practical applications.
