Multifest is Algester State School's annual fete, community fun day and fireworks night all rolled into one.
As one of the largest and oldest schools in the local area, Algester State School has hosted Multifest for more than 20 years. Kids from the school as well as the wider community look forward to the rides, stalls, food vans, chance to have fun with friends, and of course, the night show.
The event is coordinated by the Fundraising and Events officer with support from other P&C members and school community volunteers in the lead up and on the day.

$35 ea ride pass - Save $10 compared to 'on the door' prices.
Ride Passes are a wristband that entitles the wearer to unlimited turns on the rides. Order now to pay only $35 per pass; sales on the door at Multifest will be available at $45 per pass so it's worth it to save $10.

Petting Zoo is not included in the ride pass and tickets for the petting zoo can also now be purchased for $3ea person to enter the petting zoo.

On the Thursday of Multifest it will be a free dress day for students - they can go straight from class to Multifest without having to change. No gold coin donation required.
A cloakroom will be available this year - gold coin donation required to use the cloakroom.
Ride passes and tickets available for early bird purchases - will also be available 'on the door'

Multifest ride passes - wristbands for one person to wear
Here's what you need to know:
Online purchases via MunchMonitor OR Try Booking (community members and people without a MunchMonitor account, use Try Booking)
All pre-purchased tickets are for unlimited ride passes - $35 for one ride pass; this gives unlimited rides for one person. The ride pass is a wristband that must be worn to receive the benefits
Online tickets are $10 less than tickets bought at the event. Ride Pass wristbands at the event will be $45
Online sales close Tuesday 2.9.25 9pm - discount ends 2.9.25 (no exceptions)
Single pass for a ride available on the day - $8 per ticket; one ticket for one person for one ride
All passes are non-refundable and not transferable
Passes purchased via Munch Monitor will be delivered to the classroom on the day of Multifest so you will not have to line up to collect them on arrival at the event
Passes purchased via Try Booking can be delivered to the classroom - there is an option to select 'delivery to a student at the school' at time of purchase
Ride passes are like cash - once you receive yours, please take responsibility and care to ensure it is not lost or stolen. Replacements cannot be issued
Ride passes are for rides. Stalls, sideshow alley games, booths and the petting zoo are not included in a ride pass
School members and everyone from the wider community are welcome at Multifest!
CLOAKROOM
A cloakroom will be provided for Multifest this year to facilitate safe storage of bags and iPads during the event. A Gold Coin donation is required to use the cloakroom

Reminder folks
Smoking is banned on and around Education Queensland property and for 5 metres beyond the boundaries and at all school carparks, including carparks located on adjacent council land that is intended for school community use.
The law applies at all times-during and after school hours, on weekends and during school holidays. It includes the use of all smoking products, including electronic cigarettes.
Unfortunately, we had some parents smoking at Multifest and during the fireworks in previous years.

The ever-favourite chocolate toss is back! Seeking big blocks, small blocks, mini-bites, chunky bites, boxed or unboxed. White, milk or dark... gooey filling or none. It's all good! Any donation of chocolate will be well received as we gear up for Multifest.
Students can surrender their sweet supplies to their class teacher who will pass on for stockpiling.
