Tuckshop

Welcome to 2024! The Algester State School P&C Association Tuckshop has a long history of supplying nutritious food and tasty snacks for students and staff.

Did you know?... In the 1980s a paper bag system was used at our school whereby parents would write the lunch order on the front of a brown paper bag and enclose money for payment. The order would be filled and returned in the same bag with any change taped to the front of the bag.

Nowadays, the system is more sophisticated using an online debit system called 'Munch Monitor'.

Using Munch Monitor to Order from Tuckshop.pdf

Algester is a cashless school so a Munch Monitor account is required to order from the tuckshop.

Munch Monitor is now open for 2024 orders.

You will have to update your child's class to proceed. See our handy guide on how to do this.

More general information is below.

Setting Spending Allowances on Munch Monitor.pdf

Munch Monitor is a debit system that allows you to give your child the independence (and treat!) of buying a snack from the tuckshop window at break time.

To enable this, you will have to set up 'snack money' within your Munch Monitor account.

See the guide on how to do this.

As a reminder, all tuckshop ordering is online via Munch Monitor. This is a debit system - so you must have funds in your account - and is due by 9am for same day lunch delivery.  The Munch Monitor system automatically cuts off at 9am - so it cannot accept orders past 9am
