The new genre that I have chosen is a historical information pamphlet about the origin/start of the English North-South divide. I chose this because it gives people the information of how the divide started and why it did/why it's still going. Creating a pamphlet/leaflet for this means that I am able to give the important and interesting facts on the origin while also engaging the readers so that if they want information, they are given places to research more.
My new audience is people interested in history. The pamphlet will be displayed in a rack at a English Heritage shop located at historical buildings and sights. I believe that this is the best medium for the audience as it gives people the choice to learn about the history that they will be engaging with at the sights.
The new medium is a pamphlet rather than a powerpoint presentation as it is an easy way to get quick and important facts over to people, and gives them the option, if interested, to learn more about the subject in more detail on their own.
The technologies that I use for this project is an online template, which is easy to follow, making the pamphlet easy to create.
It's easier than trying to create my own template to follow.
I had no challenges, the most difficult part was trying to find a template that I liked and that I thought would be best to use for the information and designs that I wanted to include.
The pamphlet will include pictures linked to the facts and also websites that can help guide people to more information if it's something that they decide they want to look in to further.
