Global Group Project

Project Description:

For this project, I had to explore global technology issues with my partner and practice digital literacy skills while working with online tools and apps. 

Locations:

I chose Albania, my partner Emma chose Japan.

Interesting Facts:

I learned that Albania was closed off for 40 years and only re-opened in the 1990s. I also learned that Japan has an abundance of mountains, which I did not expect!

Lessons Learned

From doing this project, I learned more about Albania and Japan, two countries I didn't know much about at first. I also learned how to collaborate more effectively when using Word and PowerPoint. Usually I'm not great at troubleshooting technical issues like broken links and restricted access, but Emma helped me figure out ways to fix those problems. Therefore, I feel more confident in my computer literacy skills. Overall, I learned more about technology around the globe and how to collaborate on digital apps a little bit easier.
