The Alexandria Historical Society (AHS) GRANTS are competitive awards to support historical research and interpretation projects relating to Alexandria and Northern Virginia history. Originally the grants were established to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of AHS in 2024. It is expected that funding will again be available this coming year. The 2026-2027 Grant Process will begin in late October. At that time we will post the specifics of the process, available funding, and deadlines. AHS Members will be notified automatically. If you are not a member but would like to be notified about our next round of Grants, please let us know so that we can write to you directly.
