Each year, I participated in an Evaluation Cycle with my Administrative Team. We focused on one main goal for the year to assess mine and my students' growth throughout the year. These were measurable, attainable goals that I achieved each year.
Goal: By June 2024, 80% of students will show growth in the communication skill: I can listen and ask questions to understand.
Strategies: I will teach the Hands Down Speak Out conversation skills, post clear questioning sentence stems, utilize explicit modeling and practice through the "peace path" problem solving tool, and connect to the benefits of asking questions and success in math.

Goal: By June of 2023, students will show 90% growth in phonics measured by testing through CORE, PASS, Lexia, and Word Work.
Strategies: I will encourage the use of Lexia during Language Arts workshop time, plan small group lessons and target specific areas, implement whole class word work lessons each day, and I will engage in a coaching cycle.
Data Collection:
Goal: With a focus on Language Arts, the targeted subgroups (ESOL and Special Education) will increase pass rate on the grades 3-6 learning standards to at least 75%.
Strategies: Participate in professional development for utilizing the workshop model to differentiate instruction, increase teacher knowledge of student academic gaps and growth through consistent data collection and CLT data dialogues, and implement interventions.
