Modeling and Control of Large Scale Systems
Due to the rise in number (and therefore complexity) of the modern systems, we nowadays deal with general large-scale interconnected systems with general network topology, and often affected by external disturbances. Therefore, there is a need for scalable stability solutions, that are capable to ensure the overall stability when some sufficient conditions are met by each agent with respect to its neighbors. Deeper knowledge of the structural properties of the whole system would help in studying the relations between the network topology and the different structural properties, thus leading to (scalable) verifiable necessary and sufficient conditions for stability.
