Are you planning to UK ban dildos once more? Will they soon ban dildos because they are "childish" because of the lack of pubic hair ...?
The media has seized upon this erroneous saga and have sold numerous comics with red tops that focus on the misfortunes of people who were wrongly accused and/or innocent for any of the following causes:
This isn't an exhaustive list, and willsurely be expanded upon as there's a lack of clarity.
1. The doll was incorrectly identified as imported but, in reality it was bought from in the EU.
2. The importer wasn't aware of the real characteristics of the doll he imported.
3. Seller of doll lied about their products.
4. The identical dolls were readily accessible from EU storage stocks.
5. The mini sex doll was not thought to be "childlike".
In my case (1 4, 5 and 1) I was arrested and charged with importing a doll for myself at a lower cost than what was accessible from the well-established and reliable vendors in the EU. I did this in order to save hundreds of pounds by avoiding vendor mark-ups. I would have preferred I'd employed an EU vendor to purchase exactly the same doll that I purchased as it would have prevented eight months of heartache and a confiscated phone 3 doll seizures, the removal of computers, substantial depreciation, a significant loss of hair and a depressed view regarding our UK justice system, and the related agencies.
It took them eight months to make up their minds and all items confiscated were given back to a unhappy and innocent member of the general public.
