Where Are They Now: Coach Harms
After the 2002 season, it was apparent that Alden could no longer field an 11 man football team. Coach Harms became the defensive coordinator for the A-NEH JH Team, which went undefeated. The following year (2004), when Iowa Falls and Alden began a whole grade sharing agreement, Coach Harms became the Middle School Football Coordinator, which to present has a record of 94-60. Coach Harms is also the Head Men's Track Coach at Iowa Falls-Alden High School since 2008: IFA Men's Track & Field . IFA Men's Track has won 26 Meet Championships, Sent 60 events to state, Placed 26 at state, won 3 state event championships and set 40 meet records.

Where Are They Now: Coach Moore
After playing football at Graceland University, Chad Moore began his coaching career at Ellsworth College. Following his time at Ellsworth, Coach Moore was named head coach at Alden for the 1997 season. After moving on from Alden, he was the defensive coordinator and later head coach at Belmond-Klemme High School, and is currently the head coach at Forest City. Coach Moore is also Forest City's activities director and associate high school principal.

Where Are They Now: Coach Van Rooyen
Coach Brad Van Rooyen played HS Football, Basketball, Track and Baseball at Maurice-Orange City High School in Northwest Iowa. He graduated high school in 1972. He went on to play college football at Northwestern of Orange City Iowa. Van Rooyen was a 1st Team NAIA All-American Running Back. After graduating from Northwestern, his first chance to coach was at Parkersburg as an assistant, but he turned it down, because he wanted to be a head coach and Alden offered him the job that he held for 21 seasons. In 1997, Van Rooyen moved to South O'Brien High school closer to his hometown in Northwest Iowa. He spent 9 seasons there and finished with a 46-37 record. His overall head coaching record was 156-113-0. A 58% win rate. Coach Van Rooyen finished his career as an assistant coach (running backs) at Clinton High School. There he coached UNI All-American and Arizona Cardinal NFL All-Pro running back David Johnson.

Ed Weeks was inducted into the Simpson College Athletics Hall of Fame in 1969 and was also Inducted into the Iowa High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame. Coach Weeks graduated from Simpson College in 1954 and began his coaching career at Baxter, Iowa where his record was 16-9. From Baxter he came to Alden where he had a record of 41-8. He then finished his coaching career at Wapello with a record of 69-20.
