Training Division
The Training Division (TD) allows us to prepare, develop, and sustain the training of Special Agents and staff across all areas. TD uses instructional, scenario-based education to ensure personnel are fully prepared to execute federal law enforcement responsibilities.
Mission
To train and certify personnel, maintain professionalism standards, enhance tactical and investigative proficiency, and ensure professional development across the Bureau from new academy agents to current Special Agents.
Responsibilities
Deliver foundational training for academy agents.
Prepare academy agents to become FBI Special Agents or administrative staff.
Conduct scenario-based exercises and policy evaluations.
Certify all personnel in required tactical or investigative fields.
Provide remedial training when standards are not met.
