Response to Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development From CI 634

This is a paper on Piaget's Theory of Cognitive Development, exploring the four stages—sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete operational, and formal operational—and how these stages influence learning. By understanding Piaget's framework, I was able to create developmentally appropriate activities in my classroom that align with children's cognitive abilities, while also fostering their emotional, social, and physical growth.

Assignment 4 Diversity in Picture Books

This assignment was about Diversity in Picture Books, focusing on children's books with different themes including socio-economic differences, different cultures, self acceptance, and empowerment. Some books also explored various themes, such as different family types, encouraging children to embrace their uniqueness while fostering empathy and understanding of others' experiences. These stories provide young readers with opportunities to see themselves reflected in literature and to appreciate the richness of diverse perspectives.
