Hello! My name is Airiana Anderson. I originally earned my undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration, but after a few years in the field, I realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. My true passion lies in working with children, which led me to go back to school and pursue a career in early childhood education.
I’m thrilled to be on track to graduate with my master’s degree in December 2024! Currently, I’m a PreK teacher, and I absolutely love spending my days with a room full of bright, smiling four year olds. It's been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I can’t wait to see where this path takes me!
Working on my ability to adjust lessons to fit the different needs of my students. Since every child learns in their own way, I want to make sure my lessons help each student grow at their own pace. I plan to use regular assessments to see how students are progressing and adjust my teaching as needed. By using a mix of teaching methods, like hands-on activities, technology, and group work I can make my classroom engaging for all learners. I want to continue my professional growth by reflecting on my teaching practices, staying informed about the latest research in early childhood education, and actively seeking feedback to ensure my classroom is a space that encourages both academic and personal growth for all students.
