Want to know the MOST efficient way to start your career?

Hey yall! My name is Master Sergeant William Barnett, yes I am a southerner and I'm your local Active Duty Enlisted Air/Space Force Recruiter. I've been active duty for over 14 years and haven't regretted a single moment. While serving, I've been stationed in North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, and now, here in Saginaw/Caro, Michigan. Prior to recruiting, I was in the medical field as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician.
Before the Air Force, I explored technical trades schools for Auto Mechanics, and after graduating High School, I opted to do what most teens do, take the EXPENSIVE leap STRAIGHT into college with very little TRUE understanding of what I wanted for a career. It was at that point I left the nest and moved to Columbus Ohio (Go Bucks) to attend DeVry University. Changing my major 3 times, and racking up roughly $15K in debt I finally pulled the plug and decided I needed to start making money and earning my keep vs. going further into debt.
After about four different odd jobs, I ventured to my local Air Force recruiter where I found my calling.
Since joining the Air Force I have been able to finish three Associates Degrees and earned all but about 6 credits short of my Bachelors’s Degree. All credits and degrees were 100% paid for by the U.S. Air Force and most, simply by learning my job.
I've had the privilege of visiting ten countries which I never dreamed I would get the chance to for anywhere between 15-30 days at a time, not to mention ample downtime to travel and explore when I wasn't working.
To sum it all up, these 14 years have FLOWN by with countless exciting and life-changing experiences. I still have at least six more to go and cant wait to see what happens next.
I'm here and happy to help get YOU started on your next journey becoming a member of the most selective, highest qualified, technologically superior military branch in the world, the United States Air/Space Force.
