Combinatorics in Algebraic Statistics and Game Theory

This is an intensive 6 weeks summer research experience  funded by Combinatorial Synergies on problems related to combinatorial structures in algebraic statistics and game theory and how mathematical software can be applied to these problems.

Selected masters and bachelors students will work together with experienced mentors and research assistants. Participants will receive travel and accommodation support, as well as support to cover living expenses; see https://www.combinatorial-synergies.de/dives/  for more information.  

Preference will be given to students with a background in algebra, combinatorics or geometry, and comfortable with computations. The program aims to prepare students for the rigors of graduate level research.
