Ben Hollering
I am an Alexander von Humboldt postdoc at TU Munich in the Mathematical Statistics research group led by Mathias Drton. My research interests are in algebraic statistics, combinatorics, and computational algebra. I am particularly interested in problems concerning graphical models and phylogenetics.
Previously, I was a postdoc in the nonlinear algebra group of Bernd Sturmfels at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences. I completed my Ph.D. in May 2022 at North Carolina State University under the direction of Seth Sullivant.
