Hi! I am a PhD student in the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Leipzig, Germany. I graduated with a BA (Hons) from the University of Oxford in February 2024, after completing in July 2023.
I am in the Interdisciplinary Frontiers of Algebraic Geometry group of Irem Portakal and the Numerical Algebraic Geometry group of Simon Telen.
My research interests lie in algebraic geometry, especially algebraic statistics, combinatorics, and algebraic curves.
You can reach me at niharika.paul@mis.mpg.de.
